In September 2019, the Dept of Internal Affairs launched a website that holds information for bereaved parents, families and whānau when a baby or child dies.
The website has information specific to different types of loss - miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, continuing a pregnancy following an unexpected diagnosis, neonatal death and infant/child death.
You will also find a range of information - legal, financial, birth and death registration, transport and travel, burial and cremation, memory making, post mortem and support resources.
