Sands Wellington-Hutt Valley is a non-profit group run by volunteers. While the Ministry of Health funds our Sands Support Packs throughout the country, we still need to raise money for all the other things we do in our community - running support meetings, providing resources to bereaved families in our hospitals, organising Baby Loss Awareness Week events, travelling to and from the hospitals to keep them stocked, providing training to health and caring professionals and to network with other community organisations.

Donations made to Sands Wellington-Hutt Valley are spent directly on resources, Moses baskets, memory books and baby clothing for bereaved parents - we make applications for grants for the administrative side of things.
