2024 Wave of Light - Tuesday 15th October
Please join us from 6:45pm at the Petone foreshore (on the Eastbourne side of the Settlers Museum) to light a candle at 7:00pm in remembrance of your baby/babies.
It helps to bring a candle in a holder or jar because of our wonderful Wellington wind!
You are also invited to bring along a poem or reading if you'd like to share that with us all (or if you don't feel you can, we'll read it out for you).
We'll keep you updated on our Facebook page (and here) regarding the weather. But it has to be absolutely atrocious for us not to gather!
You can see from the photos below, we gather in the sun and we gather in the rain.
If you have any questions at all, please message us through our Facebook page or email us on [email protected]

Wave of Light
Nau mai, haere mai - we gather at the Petone foreshore every 15th October to light candles, listen to music and read beautiful words of love in memory of our babies and children.
